Seeing Clearly

Perspective is Reality BUT Perspective is not Truth.     That is a pretty loaded statement.  Maybe read it again.......and again. My goal is to try to unpack that very concept and hopefully bring some clarity of how powerful perspective is, both to hold us back and to launch us forward. Our perspective can keep us in chains, and our perspective can also set us free.  Not only set us free, but allow us to see the chains were not ever really fastened to us in the first place, just heavy weights and burdens we carried around without realization.  In my last entry, Dare to Hope,  I spoke about a waking up, an opening of the eyes and ears, a revelation of the Spirit that re-centers and breathes life to our hearts.  Let's continue down that path, and examine the difference between perspectives and Truth.      What is wrong with the world??? Dare To Hope

    I have been having a pretty good past 2 weeks, but the funny thing is it's not because any of my circumstances have changed drastically. - I still work the same job with crazy unhealthy hours. - I am still packing around extra unnecessary pounds and not where I would like to be physically at age 44. -I still deal with constant and consistent back pain and stiff unflexable muscles, tendons, joints. -I still tend to avoid conflict and avoid risk to the detriment of my closest relationships and my inner health. - I still struggle with doubts, and lack of faith, and lack of action. - I still mostly lack close friends and a meaningful spiritual community in my everyday life. -I still spend way too much time vegetating on Facebook and Instagram, and reading oppressive and negative news headlines.
